Employee Bios

Gregory Ian Korn, AIA   Principal & Founder

Gregory Ian Korn was born in New York, NY in 1976. He graduated from Mamaroneck High School in 1994, Cornell University in 1998 [BA], and Washington University, St Louis in 2002 [M Arch]. He began work in the profession in 1992, and obtained architectural licensure in 2005. Greg’s experience spans a range of project types and sizes across the country, and even internationally. He founded GKA in 2009 with a passion for serving end-user small businesses. He has been a member of the American Institute of Architects since 2005, is NCARB certified, and LEED accredited.

Nicolas W. Arango Job Captain

Nicolas is job captain and project administrator for GKA’s New York / New Jersey Metro area projects, and Job Captain for GKA’s New Jersey portfolio. Nicolas has worked for GKA since 2021 and has gained considerable experience in both design and drafting, and field work on GKA’s many commercial and industrial new construction improvement projects. Nicolas also helps maintain GKA CAD standards and trains and supports GKA junior staff. Nick is enrolled at New Jersey Institute of Technology [BArch].
